Law 15 - Throw In 6/8/2008

RE: Competitive Under 13

Ben Citrin of Madison, Connecticut United States asks...

What happens when the throw-in is taken properly, but the ball lands out-of-bounds, and then bounces on to the field? Does the throw-in get re-taken or should play continue?

This would result in a retaking of the throw .

Anytime the ball does not enter the field on a throw-in, the ball is rethrown by the same team from the correct location.

The ball is rethrown by the same team. If the ball lands out and comes in, it is rethrown.
