Question Number: 19480Law 15 - Throw In 6/22/2008RE: Rec Adult Joel of Shamokin, PA USA asks...Team A earns a throw in and Team B has a player that runs across the field to stand directly in front of the thrower and directly on the sideline (this is indoor). Team A throws the ball directly into the opponent standing on the line. what is the call? Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino I would think Team B would get a caution for interferring with the taking of a throw-in and if the referee felt there was intent to harm with the throw a caution or send off for Team A. If not, then nothing to Team A
