Question Number: 20110Law 18 - Common Sense 9/29/2008RE: All High School A ref of Albuquerque, NM USA asks...This question is a follow up to question 20059 Just to offer my two cents in this question and to maybe help out the questioner: I don't know under what auspices your high school soccer plays. Mine happens to be the New Mexico Activities Association (NMAA). I do believe they have a rule against any kind of 'adornment.' The intent I think is to prevent any type of red and blue bandana wearing as with 'cryps' and 'bloods' or something of that nature -- gang-related. But as with anything it's up to the referee. Just know that if you do this, you have by my odds an 80% chance of the ref telling you 'nuh-uh' and the incident being reported to your home state association. Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson Gangs I had not even considered! I lead far too sheltered a life I guess! Appreciate the info . Cheers
