Question Number: 20249Law 15 - Throw In 10/13/2008RE: rec Adult conrado castellanos of quail valley, california usa asks...The ball got kik out of play by a blue player a parent pick up the ball and give it to a green player that is standing inside the field of play . he is about 2 feets from the touch line the green player puts the ball in play the referee see that the player is inside the field and made the player to retake the throw in the right way by the touch line ?did the referee made the right call this are u 10 boys Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson U-10 we tend to see this as training and an occasional do over at the recreational level is often the preferred choice. If highly competitive or by the book it is procedurally incorrect thus a loss of possession throw in to the opposition. Cheers
