Curious Ref of san ramon, ca United States asks...

Hello,

I understand that for an IDK that you keep your arm up until another play touches it.

But, lets say there is no chance that the ball will go in the net, is it okay to drop your arm and continue with the game before the ball is touched?

Ex: An offside is called and they play a square ball across the field, okay to drop your arm?
