Question Number: 20766League Specific 1/26/2009RE: Rec Under 17 Mark of Milton Keynes, England asks...Can someone point me at the FA rule that would be enforced for Club who played a player during the period that player was suspended for a red card offense. All help appreciated. Mark// Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer Mark, you'll have to sort this one on your own as you are much closed to your league by-laws than we are. That's where cheaters in the league will be dealt with. Regards,

A referee only deals with the match in hand and cannot always be aware of who is or is not a legal player or substitute. If the name appears on the game sheet and no one makes him aware and there are no safeguards id check, id playing cards not revoked, etc.. Then the league has some sorting out to do now don't they? Cheers
