Question Number: 22883Law 12 - Fouls and Misconduct 3/1/2010RE: Rec Grade 9 Under 15 Roy Ramstad of Northfield, Minnesota U.S. asks...If two fouls occurred one after another by two different players on opposing teams, which team would be awarded the DFK? Answer provided by Referee Gary Voshol The foul that is called is the one that happened first. That determines the restart.
Anything that happens after that is not a foul, but could be misconduct.

As most players know, however, referees sometimes miss the intial foul and only see the retaliation. Indeed, the second foul may never happen if the referee stops play for the first one.
