Richard of Stafford, UK asks...

on Saturday i was sent off for stamping on an opponent. How many games should I be expecting as a ban?

Hi Richard
The minimum ban is one game under FIFA advice. In general in the UK the suspension is usually three games for serious foul play or violent conduct, ?40 fine and 4 penalty points.

Is stamping in the UK the same as stomping in the US? If it is, I think a lifetime ban might be a good idea but you'll likely get 4-5 games for violent conduct
