Question Number: 24159The Technical Area 10/14/2010RE: competitive Under 10 rose of wallingford, ct us asks...After a coach is ejected from the game, should he be allowed to walk across the field or should he walk around the outer edge of the field? Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Rose The game cannot restart until the ejected player or coach has fully left the field of play and surrounds. If the quickest way to leave the area is across the field of play then I personally don't have a problem with that. The decision also depends on the layout of the field and where the referee wants the person to go to. My only concern would be the danger of the person getting involved with players. Hopefully that would not be an issue with U10s
