That will depend on what your league rules have to say about it, if anything. The Laws of the Game do not make a distinction.

But whether it is legal or not, you have to ask whether it is a wise thing to do. Not very many players at that age have the skills to pull off a good slide tackle without putting their opponents into extreme danger. Being safe should be of prime importance.
