Question Number: 24657League Specific 3/6/2011RE: Select Under 14 Jim _94121 of San Francisco, CA, CA usa asks...In futsal each team gets a time-out in each half of the game. A team calls time-out early in the second half. Later they call another one and the ref and timekeeper grant it. When it is found out they didn't have one to call, what is the correct action? Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Jim Nothing the referee can do other than learn from the mistake and ensure that it does not happen again. In this game I might add that the opponents may have benefited from the time out as well and they should be entitled to call a 2nd time out should they wish to in the interests of fairness.
