Question Number: 24662Law 3 - Number of Players 3/7/2011RE: Rec Under 19 Fred Valdez of Wingham, Ontario Canada asks...This question is a follow up to question 24612 As a follow up question, I am wondering what the consequences would be if after getting dismissed from the game, a coach told the ref to 'F off' before leaving the field of play. This usually happens after losing total control of his players. I realize that this should go in the game report, but what could happen to the coach as a further consequence? Thanks, Fred Answer provided by Referee Gary Voshol The referee will report any incidents that happen after a dismissal. The disciplinary committee of the league or competition, if they are any good at doing their job, will extend the suspension of the player or team official commensurate with the nature of the additional offense(s).

Disciplinary boards take a dim view of the use of offensive, insulting and abusive language towards match officials and the result can be a longer touchline/stadium suspension and a fine.
