Massachusetts HS rules allows substitutions on corner kicks but a substitute cannot take the corner.
I think this rule was added to discourage teams from bringing on a free kick specialist whenever there's a corner. Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Mike
Thanks for that information. I believe the HS game would benefit from having one set of rules that covers everyone with less confusion and one single source of current rules.

There are many variants under high school rules that do not match the laws of the game. Referees applying a high school rule instead of TLOG is common in the US. The original question in this one came from Canada.
