Question Number: 25162Law 15 - Throw In 7/3/2011RE: competitive Under 16 erni of davis, California Us asks...What is the restart of play, when a attacker throws the ball inside into the opposite goal with out nobody touching it?? Is it corner kick or goal kick? Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi
The restart is a goal kick. Why? A goal kick is awarded when the whole of the ball passes over the goal line, either on the ground or in the air, having last touched a player of the attacking team, and a goal is not scored in accordance with Law 10.

Yep, a goal kick - because it left the field over the goal line last touched by the attacking team. So, since one cannot score directly from a throw-in, the only possible restart if it went in the goal is a goal kick.
