My son received a red card in the game. he left the field. and was done for the day. Is he suspend from playing the next game?

Hi Russ
That is a matter for the disciplinary committee of the League to decide and the level of suspension.
FIFA has decreed that a player that has been sent off must not play in the next game.

At the least. Depending on why he was sent off and the wording of the referee's report, the disciplinary committee may issue a more severe punishment but a one game suspension is the minimum.
