Question Number: 25653Law 9 - The Ball in and out of Play 10/23/2011RE: Say Under 8 Jim Janszen of Cinti, OH USA asks...A goalkeeper makes a save, but his legs and feet are clearly out of bounds but the ball remains in bounds. Does goalkeeper maintain possession or should there be a corner kick awarded? Answer provided by Referee Jason Wright All that ever matters is where the ball is. If the smallest sliver of the ball is still above the line, then the ball is still in play.
