View Referee hoare profileAnswer provided by Referee MrRef Subsequent to World Cup 2006 the referee may caution only in this instance unless what the keeper did was a sending-off offence in itself. If the keeper attempted to deny a goal by foul play and was unsuccessful because a goal was subsequently won he can not be guilty of denying a goal. It was scored, wasn't it?
