View Referee Joe McHugh profileAnswer provided by Referee Dennis Wickham Within 2 years, a Grade 8 referee simply needs to meet the requirements to recertify.
If it has been between 3-5 years, a Grade 8 referee may be able to take the shorter Grade 9 to Grade 8 bridge class (if your area offers that class). Otherwise, they need to retake the entry level (16 hour) class again.
