APOEL - Lyon (CL knockout stage 16)

The game was decided on penalties.

One of the penalties hit the post, then the APOEL keeper and went in. Should it count?

Yes. The ball bouncing off the posts, crossbar and/or keeper is still considered to be using the momentum from the kick, therefore is still part of that penalty kick. Even if the ball bounces forwards off the post, onto the keepers back then into the goal, it's still a goal.

yes it should unless the referee incorrectly signaled the kick over prematurely

Hi Costas
Yes the penalty should count. Law 14 allows for the ball to hit any combination of goal frame and goalkeeper before crossing the goal line
