Question Number: 26498Law 5 - The Referee 6/26/2012RE: 4 College Nigel Usher of SKELMERSDALE , Lancashire England asks...does the referee have the right to know the outcome of a personal hearing Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Nigel According to the FA Rule Book 2011/12 item 14.12 page 441 under personal Hearings and I quote " Referees and Assistant Referees may be told the result of a hearing on the next working day, should they request to be told, subject to the participant being aware of the decision."" So the referee has a right to the information but he must request it.
