View Referee Jason Wright profileAnswer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi The referee should do nothing other than watch play continue as the ball is still in play. What the referee should look for though is the possibility of offside should an attacker be in an offside position when the ball was kicked as when the ball rebounds to that player he must be called offside when he interferes with play.
