Akash of Port Louis, Mauritius asks...

After a Throw- in taken correctly enters the field of play and leaves at thrower's goal line without touching another player. What decision should the referee or assistant referee take?

As soon as the ball is so much as above any part of the touch line then it's in play, so in your scenario the correct restart would be a corner kick.

Hi Akash
As the ball is in play from the throw in and it crossed the goal line without touching any other player the restart is a corner kick to the opponents. If it was the attacking side that took the throw in it would be a goal kick restart.
