RE: REC Under 18

Alexander Magos of Fallbrook, CA USA asks...

Hi,

I used to ref soccer in Murrieta, and I would like to start to ref again out here in Fallbrook. Can you tell me the steps it takes to become a soccer ref here. I would like to know where the classes are held and when the next one is.

Thank you,

Alex Magos

If you were never certified for USSF or it has been more than 2 years, the first step is to sign up for a referee class. You can find a list of classes on the calsouth.com website (Click on the referee tab). Sign up on line.

After you are certified, you should join one or more local referee association for match assignments. There are several associations in San Diego County. A complete list is one of the handouts at the referee class. You can also find the list on the Cal South website.
