Question Number: 27831Kicks From The Penalty mark 9/30/2013RE: college player, competitive coach Under 15 ihab leheta of brossard, quebec Canada asks...can you change goalies in the middle of a shoot out with an existing player ffrom the field. Example in a 5 shoot out scheme can you put your striker as a gaolie for the 4th shot. Note your goalie is not hurt. or must you designate your striker as the goalie form shot #1? thank you. Answer provided by Referee Dennis Wickham Any of the 11 eligible kickers may begin as, or be changed to be, the goalkeeper during kicks from the penalty mark. In theory, the keeper could be changed at each kick.

Generally this only happen at Underage where perhaps an outfield player may be a better shot stopper than the regular goalkeeper.
