Question Number: 27950League Specific 10/28/2013RE: Under 17 Luigi Frigo of Oakland, CA USA asks...The Jack London Zero-Tolerance Policy prohibits physical and verbal abuse, threats, and harassment by anyone associated with Jack London, including players, coaches, parents, referees, and league and club officials. Dissent is covered by the Rules of Competitive Leagues above. I recently call on a Coach for braking thei spolicy and reported him via email and on the game report. My question is who enforces this policy now? Supposedly the coach is banned from showing up in the field for the next 2 weeks, so the coach assistant will have to cover up! Thanks! Luigi Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Luigi Why do you doubt that disciplinary matters will not be enforced? Once a referee reports a matter to the competition organisers it is up to that body to deal with the offence through its disciplinary procedures.
