Glen George of London , UK asks...

A player takes a corner, the ball hits the post and bounces back to the player, without anyone else touching it. He touches the ball again. What is the decision?

Hi Glen
The correct decision is an IDFK from where the player double touched the ball. A player may not retouch the ball at any restart until it has been touched by another player.

This is called a double touch and results in an indirect free kick for the opponents where the second touch occurred.
