Question Number: 2913League Specific RE: recreational Kathrine MacRae of Vancouver, British Columbia, bc Canada asks...In a league game, one of the players was seriously injured and an ambulence had to be called. The game was abandoned approximately 5 minutes before the end of the second half. Does the score stand or is the game to be replayed?.Thanks Answer provided by Referee burbidge Due to an unfortunate incident such as a serious injury, the coaches are given the choice of whether to play on or not. If they both decide that the match should be abandonned, the score would stand and the referee would indicate on the game sheet that the match was abandonned at 'X' minute in the second half. Good luck in the future!
