Question Number: 29968 12/1/2015RE: Professional Joe of Lamsing, MI Usa asks...A defender takes a free kick from his own penalty area to his own goalkeeper, Who is also within his put on the area, and the goalkeeper catches it with his hands. What decision does the referee make? Orders the free kick to be retaken, awards and indirect free kick because a goalkeeper caught the ball in his hands when it was passed over by a teammate, awards and indirect free kick in the favor of the opposing team, our orders the free kick through taken in cautions the player for delaying the restart.
