Question Number: 29983Law 4 - Players Equipment 12/9/2015RE: Select Under 18 John of Atlanta, Georgia USA asks...Can you wear a elevation mask/training mask during a game. Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi John As a referee I would not allow this as it is a training aid and there is no reason for it to be worn in a game. Reasons for wearing something other than basic equipment has to be related to protection. This is not for protection so it is not allowed

It looks like a muzzle ? lol It is not a safety device as far as I can tell, but is it dangerous? I would tend to not permit it but in truth not sure why other than it just seems wrong! Cheers
