how do you explain tackle and challenge in Law 12 ???why was the word 'challenge'

generally it was understood that a tackle is a challenge for the ball with the foot (on the ground or in the air) whereas challenge is a more general term which nclude efforts to win the ball with the knee, thigh etc.
IFAB was of the opinion that *tackles* implies a challenge with the foot only but some challenges can be with other parts of the body and technically were not covered. It is just a tidy up of the wording.
