Question Number: 30702Law 3 - Number of Players 8/30/2016RE: Under 6 aymen soumer of KHOURIBGA, Khouribga Morocco asks...After a goal is scored, before the restart the referee notice that both teams play with 12 players . Decision ? Old law please Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Aymen As the scoring team has infringed the Laws of the Game the goal cannot be allowed. As both teams have simultaneously infringed the Laws the restart is a dropped ball on the goal area line after both players are cautioned and removed from the field of play. The restart is the same under the updated Laws although one could argue that as a goal is being disallowed that the restart could be an IDFK under the new wording.
