Question Number: 30936Law 15 - The Throw In 10/22/2016RE: rec Under 13 Erin Johnson of Oroville , wa usa asks...During a throw in, can the player twist the body? Even if he throws directly over head, it kind of goes side ways from behind the head. Should reg call bad throw in? Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Erin No issue with twisting the body at a throw in. The key is to ensure that the proper throwing method is adopted which can be easily done with twisting included. All that has happened is that the player has not moved her feet which is not an issue.
