The answers come at the end.

Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh

Hi Russell
I believe I posted this in response to an offside question some time ago to make the point just how difficult it is for an AR to get offside calls correct.
I believe on review in the English Premier a league that there is a very high percentage of correct calls. Unfortunately the few that are in error get the most attention.

Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson

Hi Russell,
you will note these are for the most part very tight and leaning forward and trailing leg plays a huge role! I will say this it is easier to make a non call and miss the offside then make the offside call for a non offside.
Cheers
