RE: Select Under 19

Tony of Whitehorse, YT Canada asks...

2 questions:

What is the latest updates to the Futsal LOTG? 2014/15 is all I can find.

Can a goal be scored directly from a kick off? I believe yes but am having difficulty finding the newest LOTG version.

Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh

Hi Tony
The last update of the Futsal laws was in 2014/15 so there has been no update since then that I am aware off. All references go back to 14/15 edition. The reason for that I believe has to do with FIFA and IFAB separating their functions.
It can be viewed here

In Futsal a goal may NOT be scored directly from the kick-off unlike the regular 11 a side game where it can.

HI Tony ,
no goal off the kick off in futsal. Only in outdoor is this possible. I do not think there has been a newer version than 2015?
Cheers
