This question is a follow up to question 32378

Just a couple of last comments on this one ;)

The thing about the player complaining ... some players never complain, and this kid who I've watched play for over a year now is one of them. I think some kids are (properly in most cases) taught not to complain or dissent, and some kids are just really quiet in demeanor. 'Well he didn't complain so it seems he didn't think it was a foul,' doesn't apply in all cases. There were protestations by the coach and two of the other players (one off camera).

As far as the potential offside offense on the player who first touched the rebound off the post (I assume that is what you are talking about) ... I had similar thoughts! I just hadn't mentioned it because it is really hard to tell from that view, and I've learned not to question it unless it is blatant. Most of the time the AR gets it right. :)

There is a world of difference between complaining / dissent and an appeal. I believe appeals are part of the game and there is nothing wrong with that and it can help referees in the game.
Yes some players are quiet and rarely get involved however we know those players are not on their own in such situations and are *helped* by the team. Once the decision is made though that is end of it.
