Question Number: 33803Other 12/14/2019RE: College samuel odera of kapkateny, kenya asks...I want to a referee and to learn through the internet Answer provided by Referee Peter Grove Hi Samuel, In addition to what my colleagues have mentioned (all good advice) I would just mention that the only truly authoritative source of information on the internet related to Laws of the Game is the IFAB's official website, www.ifab.com. Even our own site here, although we try to be as accurate as possible, often contains personal opinions on interpretation - and the occasional error, though we always strive to correct those as soon as they are noticed. There are many other websites that claim to give information related to the Laws but only the IFAB's can be totally relied on. However the IFAB website does not give much practical information about some of the on-field challenges you will face and as my refereeing colleagues point out, doing an actual hands-on training course is the only proper way to get the training you need (and to become properly qualified).
