Question Number: 34215Other 5/10/2021RE: U19 High School Jason C. of Lacrosse, WI USA asks...This question is a follow up to question 34214 Thanks guys. With regard to consulting the rulebook during a match, I have never done this, but I have had to look up obscure high school rules pre-game related to things like under garments and leg braces.
The absolute best format for IFAB rules is of course the IFAB app. The NFHS rulebook can be purchased via the Kindle app for $5 and downloaded on a phone. Neither require a data connection and both have a search function, so you can quickly find any rule without leafing through 200 hundred pages. This is much better than the paper NFHS rulebook they send you with your badge.
Cheers - The distinguished panel of referees is still discussing this question. We will have an answer shortly. Thank you for your patience.
