Question Number: 15864

Law 14 - Penalty kick 6/22/2007

Gil Acedo of Pasadena, CA USA asks...

This question is a follow up to question 15827

Hi Ref Fleischer

In answering question #15827 you stated that redardless of the outcome of the kick, that an IFK is awarded to the other team. The Laws actually state that if the kicking team infringes the laws and the ball does not enter the goal that the defenders are given the IFK, but the PK/KFTM is retaken if the ball does enter the goal.

Oops, correction in. Thanx Gil.
