Question Number: 17121Law 1- The Field 10/6/2007RE: Adult Kenny Tse of Hong Kong, China asks...why some of the corner flags of English Premier League club is triangle but some are rectangle???? Answer provided by Referee Gary Voshol Home field preference. There is no required shape or color of corner flags. The pole must be at least 5 feet (1.5 m) tall.

View Referee Richard Dawson profileAnswer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer Law 1 requires corner flags, the flagpost is not less than 5 feet high and is compulsory. It goes on to say the flagpost has a non pointed top and has a flag and is at each corner. There are no other requirements.
