Question Number: 22523Kicks From The Penalty mark 11/15/2009RE: ANY Under 16 J NORTMAN of Edingurgh, Scotland asks...This question is a follow up to question 14 I was playing goalkeeper with my mates in a bounce game where the winner was the first to score 7 goals. A rule we have is that if it goes to 6-6 we go to KFTPM - basically to decide the winner after no clear winner had been decided. The first penalty was taken and it hit off the post and traveled back towards the kicker but hit off my head (goalkeeper) and went into the net. I said no goal but then they said something about this when it happened in the France-Italy Penalty Shoot-out. Was I right to disallow the goal? Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Unfortunately you were incorrect to disallow this goal. If it hits the goalkeeper on a rebound off the post or crossbar the goal stands. I would refer you Question # 22498 which is a similar question
