Kicks From The Penalty mark 9/20/2010

This question is a follow up to question 23937

'The worst referee error on kicks from the mark is letting any player kick a second time before every other eligible player has kicked once'

What needs to be done if this nightmare happens when subsequent kick/kicks have been taken?

There is no simple fix for the referee. The error must be identified in the match report, and the issue likely will be resolved by a protest committee.

Hi Alex
Once the error has been made and KFTPM has continued with another kick taken it is impossible to go back and undo the error.
All the referee can do is report the error and allow the competition authority to make a decision.
Prevention is always better than cure.

Alex, this is spilled milk issue. You cannot 'unspill' milk; the error is established. The nightmare is dealt with the league, not the referee.
