When taking a throw-in, if you stood on the pitch with your heels on the line, would that be acceptable?

Hi Raymond
As long as any part of both feet are touching the touch line that is acceptable. So the player can have his heels on the line and the rest of the foot over the line as that is acceptable.
What can happen though is that if the player goes up on his toes then no part of the foot is touching the line which is illegal.

It is acceptable. Any part of the foot can be ON the line.

Law 15 says part of each foot must be on or behind the line. It doesn't say where the other part of the foot has to be. If your heel is on the line and your toe is beyond the line on the green part of the field, you meet the 'part' of each foot requirement.
