Question Number: 3234The Fourth Official RE: Pro Adult Dan of Indianapolis, IN USA asks...Mr. Ref,..I have noticed that in a few MLS matches, the fourth official uses two sets of substitution signs (one is red for the outgoing player, the other green for the incoming). I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction on where to find these. The only ones I can find are the large yellow ones sold by Official Sports. Thank you...Dan Answer provided by Referee Victor Matheson The MLS uses these signs during day games because the fancy electronic sign boards can't seen in sunlight. If you can't find the signs at Official Sports, I don't know what you can do. You might actually call official sports, ask for Mary Lou or Paul (the owners) and see if they have any ideas.
